About Vipassana
What is Vipassana?
If you ask Google you will end up with a definition looking like: Vipassanā or vipaśyanā, is prajñā “insight into the true nature of reality”, defined as dukkha “suffering, unsatisfactoriness”, anatta “non-self”, and anicca “impermanence”, the three marks of existence in the Theravada tradition, and as śūnyatā “emptiness” and Buddha-nature in the Mahayana traditions.
For the ones who will feel confused by this, Vipassana is a meditation tecnics. Historically the one teached by Buddha. Currently the biggest organization, or one of the most known at least, teaching it is called http://dhamma.org they organize 10 day-silent retreat worldwide.

My personal feedback
It was definitely a great experience. I recommend anyone who has the chance of taking a few days off to try any retreat. Newbies and experienced meditators are welcome in those centers.
It’s good to get people to help you better understand the principles behind the meditation. Some may feel the time passing too slow. Personally, I really enjoyed taking time outside our daily routine. No email, no what’s app, no stimulus …
